Box Score SILOAM SPRINGS -- On Saturday afternoon at the JBU Homecoming game, the Golden Eagles defeated Friends (Kan.), 3-1.
Golden Eagles' Danah Waters scored a goal with 13 minutes left in the first half after an assist by Katie Miller. Friends' Andrea Gayer brought the halftime score to 1-1 on a goal with 15 seconds remaining in the half.
JBU improved their offensive attack with two second-half goals scored by Brooke Williams and Christie Smeal.
The Golden Eagles are now 5-2 on the season.
The Golden Eagles next match is October 17 against Harris-Stowe State (Mo.) in St. Louis.
