Prep
Martin was a three-year letterwinner for head coach Tom Halbmaier at Bentonville High School where she was named the NWA Democrat Gazette Player of the Year as senior. During her time with the Tigers, she led the 7A-West in scoring and averaged 14.6 points, 4.1 rebounds and 2.5 assists per game in her final season. The All-State and All-State Tournament selection helped her squad amass a 61-22 conference record, including a league title and an appearance in the 7A state tournament semifinals.
