Gifte was a two-year letterwinner under head coach Kevin DeStefano at Conway High School where she was a two-time 7A/6A All-State selection. She led the Wampus Cats to a conference title in her final season while playing club soccer for Real Arkansas of the NPL.

Gifte is the daughter of Jared and Krista Pavatt and hopes to major in nursing.
