Prep Career

Smith was a three-year letterwinner under head coach Jason Edwards at Life Way Christian. She set a personal best time of 20:18 in the 5,000 meter, a school record, as a senior and was named Life Way's Athlete of the Year in her final season.

Sarah is the daughter of Tim and Vicki Smith and majors in kinesiology.
