Appeared in 29 games and made 24 starts as a freshman, averaging 27.4 minutes per game … averaged 7.8 points and 3.9 rebounds per contest, and paced the team with 13 blocks … also ranked third on the team with 58 assists … reached double-figure scoring 10 times, including a season-best 16 points versus Oklahoma City (Dec. 6) … twice reached a season-high eight rebounds, first against Science & Arts (Nov. 17), and then again versus Central Christian (Dec. 1) … dished out a season-high six assists against Mid-America Christian (Feb. 16).

After a four-year career under head coach Ben Lee at River Bluff High School, Malachi Reeves ended his prep career helping his Gators hoist its first-ever 2021 SCHSL 5A state title trophy. The 6-foot-4 guard posted a career-best 14 points, seven rebounds and three assists in high school and was named to the All-Region team and the North-South All-Star Game en route to the state crown, a year after leading the Gators to a regional title.

Malachi is the son of John and Cheryl Reeves and hopes to major in Biblical & Theological studies.
