A 2025 graduate of Legacy Christian Academy, Ogomo competed as a distance runner for the Eagles during TAPPS competition under head coach David Heaton. The native Texan holds the second-fastest times throughout program history for the 1,600 meters, 3,200 meters, and 5,000 meters.

Ogomo captured individual TAPPS district titles for the 1,600 meters during 2024 and 2025, along with district championships for the 3,200 meters and cross country during 2025. The three-year letterwinner earned cross country Runner of the Year honors during 2023 and 2024, track Distance Runner of the Year recognition during 2024, and Track Athlete of the Year honors during 2025.

Daniel is the son of John and Beatrice Ogomo and hopes to major in mechanical engineering.
