Biography

Prep Career

A 2024 graduate of Preparatoria Henbord, Sustaita García competed as a distance runner with Sprinters Cancún under coach Manuel Arturo Sánchez Martínez. The Cancun, Quintana Roo, Mexico native posted personal records of 1:59.98 (800 meters) and 4:07.76 (1,500 meters) during 2024, along with a 15:42 (5,000 meters) during 2025.

Ian is the son of Victor Gilberto Sustaita Osorno and Maria Alejandra Garcia Garcia and hopes to major in political science.
