Biography

Prior to John Brown
Zavala suited up for NCAA I Virginia Military Institute for the 2017 season, recording four shots over 13 appearances. Making four starts as a freshman, he logged 516 minutes on the pitch, including one complete match.

Prep
A three-year letterwinner at Georgetown under head coach Wes Kidd, Zavala was named team captain as a sophomore, for the first time in program history, and earned All-District first team honors three times and the district's Newcomer of the Year as a freshman. He also was selected as the All-Central Texas Newcomer of the Year after his sophomore season.

Jessie is the son of Gregory Zavala and Jennifer Christman and majors in international business.
