Sophomore | 2023

Appeared in three matches as a substitute … played a total of 31 minutes, including a season-high 15 minutes versus Southwestern (Kan.) on Aug. 25.

Freshman | 2022

Appeared in three matches off the bench … played 29 minutes … made his collegiate debut at Southwestern (Kan.) on Aug. 31 … played a season-high 22 minutes vs. Ecclesia (Ark.) on Sept. 14.

Prep Career

A four-year letterwinner at Fayetteville High School under head coach Brent Crenshaw, Carrero helped lead the Bulldogs to a 6A West conference title a year after earning All-Conference second team honors in his junior season.

Personal

Jose is the son of Julio Carrero and Ana Espinoza and hopes to major in kinesiology.
