Graduating in 2017, Frederick was a four-year letterwinner on the boy's soccer and golf teams and also earned three letters with the boy's basketball squad. The soccer standout set a program and 3A state record with 48 goals his junior season before capturing the program and state record with a career 127 goals. He also led the Saints to back-to-back conference titles.
