Prep Career
Buckner was a four-year letterwinner under head coach Reggie Hines at Maranatha Christian Academy. Also suiting up four seasons for the girl's basketball and volleyball teams, Buckner had an incredible junior season where she won the Crossroads Conference and regional championship crown in the triple jump, setting a personal-best mark of 10.32 meters. In her first season, her squad broke the school's 4x100 meters record and then the 4x200 meters record the following season.
