Prep Career

Edwards was a three-year letterwinner in cross country and a two-year letterwinner in track under head coach Randy Mijares at Trinity Academy. There, she helped the Knights to consecutive league titles and one eighth-place team finish in the 3A state championships.

Personal

Avery is the daughter of Chad and Renee Edwards and majors in art and illustration.
