A 2024 graduate of Owasso High School, Coker competed in field events for the Rams at the 6A level under head coach Steve Parker. The native Oklahoman posted personal bests of 6 feet 6 inches in the high jump, 22 feet 2¼ inches in the long jump, and 41 feet 6 inches in the triple jump during his senior season.

The three-year letterwinner earned Field Event Athlete of the Year honors during his junior season and Newcomer of the Year recognition as a senior. Coker also helped his team capture a regional championship during his junior year while competing at Ryle High School under head coach Shaun Profit.

Benjamin is the son of John and Amy Coker and hopes to major in mechanical engineering.
