Biography
Prep Career
A 2024 graduate of Plano East Senior High School, Chaffin competed for three years in cross country and track under head coach Robert Reed and one season of basketball under head coach Derrick Richardson. Representing the Panthers at the 6A level, Chaffin earned Newcomer of the Year honors in cross country as a freshman in 2021. Over the course of her running career, she recorded a 5:45 mile during a 5,000-meter district race as a sophomore, a 12:51 in the 3,200-meter run also as a sophomore, and a time of 21:06 in the 5,000-meter event as a junior.
Personal
Camryn, the daughter of Carey and Marci Chaffin, hopes to major in family and human services.
