Norwood, a three-year letterwinner in both track and field and volleyball at Siloam Springs High School, excelled as a standout Panther. Under head coach Jones on the track, she broke the program record in the 300-meter hurdles with a time of 48.04 as a senior and set the program’s heptathlon record with 3,451 points. She also posted personal bests in the long jump (16-6), triple jump (34-2.5), and 200-meter dash (28.56). Norwood was recognized as Outstanding Sprinter and competed in the Meet of Champs in the 300-meter hurdles during her final year. As a junior, Norwood earned both Outstanding Jumper and Outstanding Sprinter accolades, received All-Conference recognition, and took home the High Point Award. Additionally, she was awarded the Heart of a Panther Award in both her junior and senior seasons.

Esther is the daughter of Rob and Sherri Norwood and hopes to major in elementary education.
