Biography
Prep Career
Cook was a three-year track and field letterwinner under head coach Olman Mena at the Lincoln School. The three-time U20 Costa Rican National Champion in the 800 meters posted his top time of 1:53.55 in his senior season. He also landed titles in the 4x400 meter relay and 800 meters at the U20 NACAC Championships. He later added a personal-best time of 4:05.5 in the 1,500 meters.
Personal
Matthew is the son of Brad Cook and Carolina Gutierrez and hopes to major in finance.
