Biography
Prep Career
Hailing from nearby Gentry High School, Nix joins the Golden Eagles after a three-year career under head coach Toby Tevebaugh. Over her career, the 5-foot-7 guard shot over 43 percent from the floor and behind the arc, notching a career-best 23 points against Huntsville High School as a junior. Nix, a two-time All-Conference selection, also played four seasons on the girls soccer team and three with the volleyball squad during her time as a Pioneer.
Personal
Ariel is the daughter of Jeff and Megan Nix and hopes to major in kinesiology.
