Biography

Junior | 2022-23

Played in 27 games and averaged 7.9 minutes per game … averaged 2.3 points and 1.9 rebounds per game … made 56 percent (25-of-45) of shots from the floor and dished out 12 assists … scored in double-figures twice, including a season-high 18 points in only 18 minutes on 9-for-11 shooting versus Central Christian (Jan. 26) … grabbed a season-best five rebounds three times, and notched a season-high four assists at Central Christian (Dec. 1).

Sophomore | 2021-22

Appeared in 18 games, averaging 6.0 minutes per game … averaged 1.1 points and rebounds per game … scored a season-high five points on 2-of-2 shooting against Southwestern Christian (2/10) … pulled down a season-high five rebounds against Central Christian (1/22) … added six assists, one steal and one block.

Freshman | 2020-21

Saw time in nine games, averaging 10.8 minutes per game … averaged 4.1 points per game on 13-of-30 shooting (43.3 percent) and shot 28.6 percent from long range … shot 9-of-10 (90 percent) from the charity stripe … scored a season-high 10 points on 3-of-4 shooting from the field on a pair of triples against Central Christian (2/8) … pulled down 2.8 rebounds per game … totaled five rebounds twice in back-to-back games against Southwestern A.G. (2/12) and No. 25 College of the Ozarks (2/19).

Prep Career

Anderson joins the Golden Eagles after a four-year career under head coach Arlene Frihauf at Edison High School, where she led the Eagles to a 12-11 record, averaging over 24 points per game in her senior season. Averaging a double-double with 15 rebounds per game, the 5-foot-7 guard garnered All-Black Forest League honors three times and was named Edison's most valuable player in her final three campaigns. Anderson was a four-time scholar-athlete and helped guide the Eagles to four consecutive state tournament district appearances. The two-sport athlete but also suited up for a quartet of seasons on the volleyball team, landing three All-Black Forest League selections.

Leah is the daughter of Chad and Tina Anderson and majors in kinesiology.
