Appeared in seven games as a freshman, before a season-ending injury, where she averaged 6.7 minutes per contest … scored 17 points and made 64 percent (7-of-11) shots from the floor … scored a season-high seven points in only nine minutes in her collegiate debut against Ozark Christian (Oct. 28) … grabbed one rebound in each of her seven appearances.

Akbar was a three-year letterwinner at Bentonville High School under head coach Tom Halbmaier where she helped lead the Tigers to a 2020 state title. Although missing her senior season due to recovering from a knee injury, she poured in a career-high 23 points and added eight rebounds against Greenwood High School in her junior season before adding another contest that featured 19 points, 10 rebounds and a pair of thefts versus Little Rock Central High School.

Nadia is the daughter of Mehrdad and Jennifer Akbar and hopes to major in business administration.
