Prep Career
Janssen, a four-year letterwinner in both cross country and track and field at Nixa High School in Nixa, Missouri, competed under head coach Lance Brumley. Janssen was part of multiple championship teams, including the 2020 district title and the 2022 conference championship in cross country, as well as district championships in track from 2021, 2022, and 2024. She set a personal record of 20:02 in the 5,000 meters during her senior season and posted times of 12:58 in the 3,200 meters and 5:49 in the 1,600 meters.

Adelyn is the daughter of Dan and Christin Janssen and hopes to major in mechanical engineering.
