Prep Career
Elder earned four letters in both cross country and track and field at McPherson High School under head coaches Nik Rempe and Jace Pavlovich, respectively. While a Bullpup, she racked up back-to-back individual state qualifier honors in cross country and helped her squad to a third-place finish at regionals as a junior and senior. Elder posted personal records in the 5,000 meter race (21:35), the 3,200 meter run (12:42) and the 1,600 meter run (5:57).

Evie is the daughter of Daniel and Melody Elder and hopes to major in mathematics education.
