Biography

Prior to John Brown

During her three years at Williams Baptist University, Duncan broke program records in the 800 meters (2:23.47), 1,500 meters (5:08.40), and several indoor relay events, including the 4x400 and distance medley relay. She earned multiple AMC All-Conference honors in the 600 meters, 800 meters, and 1,500 meters. Duncan was named to the Dean’s List each semester from Fall 2021 to Fall 2023. She also received the AMC Champion of Character award for cross country in 2021 and for track & field in 2023.

Prep Career

Duncan, a four-year varsity athlete in both cross country and track and field at Gravette High School in Gravette, Arkansas, competed under head coach Jana Hardgrave. Duncan earned multiple accolades, including setting school records in the 4x400, 4x200, and 4x800 relays, and being part of state championship relay teams. She was a back-to-back state champion in the 4x800 and 4x400 relays during her sophomore and junior years. Duncan also became the conference champion in the 800 meters as a senior, setting a personal record of 2:31.51. A standout both on and off the track, Duncan was named Gravette’s Most Valuable XCTF Female from 2019 to 2021 and graduated with honors.

Personal

Mikey is the daughter of Mike and Haidee Larson and hopes to major in Christian ministry and formation.
