Biography

Prep Career

A 5-foot-9 center back from Arlington High School, Mendieta spent three seasons under head coach Duncan Nicol. As a Tiger, she racked up Team Defensive MVP, Tennessee Secondary School Athletic Association All-State and All-Conference accolades.

Personal

Bella is the daughter of Abdiel '04 and Elisa '06 Mendieta and hopes to major in nursing. Her mother, Elisa, played volleyball at John Brown University from 2002-05 while her father, Abdiel, was an All-Sooner Athletic hooper for the Golden Eagles from 2000-04.
