Lanter then spent a pair of seasons at Division II North Greenville University in the Conference Carolinas. During her time in Tigerville, South Carolina under head coach Katie Crim, she recorded five goals on 61 shots from 2024-25.

A 2024 graduate of Asheville Christian Academy, the Swannanoa, North Carolina native competed for six years each in three sports, closing her prep career with a school-record 18 career letters. Playing for head coaches Brenton Benware and Terry Hughes, the striker helped the Lions win five consecutive conference championships from 2020-24. Lanter set the single-season scoring record with 35 goals as a junior and closed her career as the program's all-time leading scorer with 71 goals. She earned All-Conference and All-State recognition in each of her final three seasons, adding All-WNC honors as a junior and senior and capping her career with All-American recognition in 2024.

Holly is the daughter of Loren and Heidi Lanter and hopes to major in English education.
