Robbins spent one season at the University of the Cumberlands in Williamsburg, Kentucky, playing for the Patriots under head coach Steven Hamilton. The team concluded the season as national runner-up at the NAIA National Championships.

A 2025 graduate of Prospect Ridge Academy, the Broomfield, Colorado native was a four-year letterwinner under head coach Jeff Vigil in Colorado's 3A ranks. The striker helped the Miners reach the state quarterfinals all four years and win a conference championship in 2023. Robbins closed her prep career with 30 goals and 10 assists, highlighted by a five-goal performance against Eagle Ridge Academy as a junior. She earned first team All-League and 3A All-State Team honors in each of her final three seasons.

On the basketball court, Robbins played four years under head coach Emily Stucky. She set single-game program records with 37 points and 33 rebounds, in addition to the program's single-game free-throw record, and closed her career holding the program marks for both career points and rebounds. Robbins earned first team All-League and Team MVP honors in each of her final three seasons, adding honorable mention All-State recognition twice.

In track and field, Robbins competed for two years under head coach Mary Marr and set the shot put program record. She earned second team All-League honors as a junior before improving to first team All-League as a senior, when she also picked up second team All-State recognition.

Kayah is the daughter of Jon and Ann Robbins and plans to study biology.
