A four-year letterwinner at Asheville Christian Academy under former Golden Eagle men's soccer head coach Brenton Benware, Johnson helped the Lions to a pair of conference titles, including one as a junior where she tallied 20 goals and 17 assists (57 points) and notched a four-point outing against the top seed in the state tournament in 2021. The team captain has already earned one All-State nod in her career.

Lillian is the daughter of Travis and Amy Johnson and majors in psychology.
