A 2026 graduate of Siloam Springs High School, the Siloam Springs native was a four-year letterwinner under head coaches Abby Jones and Craig Moses, competing in the 5A West conference. Frias closed her career with 63 goals and 79 assists, a program record that ranks second in state history; she added a program- and state-record 40 assists in a single season as a senior. The midfielder helped the Panthers win conference championships in 2024 and 2026. Frias earned All-Conference recognition in 2023, All-State and All-Tournament honors in 2024, and All-State honors again in 2025 before closing her senior season with All-State, All-Star and All-Arkansas Preps First Team recognition.

She also ran one season of cross country, earning All-State honors in 2022. In club play, she competed for Arkansas Comets in the ECNL Regional League.

Vanessa is the daughter of Felipe Frias and hopes to major in international business.
