Before coming to Siloam Springs, Garcia spent two seasons in the NAIA ranks. She began her collegiate career at Cumberland University (Tenn.) under head coach Scott Davidson before transferring to Oakland City University (Ind.) for her sophomore season. At Cumberland, the center back helped the team finish as conference tournament runner-up and qualify for the 2024 NAIA National Championships. She then helped the Mighty Oaks win a River State Conference title, earning Oakland City an appearance in the 2025 NAIA National Championships.

Garcia graduated in 2024 from IES Padre Moret Irubide in Pamplona, Navarra. The Pamplona, Spain native played for Club Atlético Osasuna, winning four league titles and helping the team earn promotion to higher divisions.

Xenia is the daughter of Eduardo Garcia and Eva Gracia and hopes to major in psychology.
