Biography
Prep Career
Smith was a four-year letterwinner under head coach Brian Thirkell at Discovery Canyon High School. She helped the team to consecutive 4A regional titles after the Thunder captured third place at the 4A state tournament. The program's first player to qualify for state all four seasons, Smith followed up a semifinal appearance as a sophomore with a regional title in her senior campaign.

Sydney is the daughter of Brian and Brenda Smith and majors in nursing.
