Prep Career
The Lowry City, Missouri, native, and a 2025 graduate of Clinton Christian Academy, earned four-year letterwinner honors in volleyball, basketball and track and field. Playing for head coach Jessica Cotten, the 5-foot-9 outside hitter helped the Patriots win the MCSAA state championship in 2025 and finish as state runner-up in 2024, while placing third at the MOKAN conference tournament in 2025. Hyke became the first Clinton Christian Academy athlete to reach 1,000 career kills and the first to sign with a collegiate program. She earned MCSAA All-State First Team, MOKAN All-Conference First Team and Team MVP honors in each of her four seasons.
On the basketball court, Hyke helped the Patriots win back-to-back MCSAA state championships in 2023-24 and 2024-25 after finishing as state runner-up in 2022-23, playing under head coaches Roger Bancroft and JD Manning. She was named to the MCSAA All-State First Team and earned Team MVP honors in all four seasons.
In track and field, Hyke led Clinton Christian Academy in capturing the MCSAA Division II state team titles in 2022, 2024 and 2025 under head coach Jackie McClure. She individually won the state championship in discus and shot put all four years and in javelin three times.
Personal
Clara is the daughter of Nathan and Becky Hyke and hopes to major in kinesiology.
