Appeared in 31 matches with 11 starts … ranked 17th in the Sooner Athletic Conference with 3.78 assists per set and 15th with 359 total assists - both of which ranked second on team … ranked third on team with 23 service aces … posted a season-high 31 assists in a four-set win at Kansas Wesleyan on Sept. 8 … belted a season-high four service aces against Bethel (Kan.) on Aug. 19.

DeSanti joins the Golden Eagles after a pair of seasons at NCAA II Black Hill State (S.D.) under head coach Kristen Carmichael. While a Yellowjacket, the 6-foot-1 setter played 79 sets and appeared in 23 matches, and showed her versatility by suiting up as a hitter her freshman season before setting in her sophomore season. During the first year, the Kremmling, Colo. product hit .179 (75-39-201) over 52 sets and added 48 total blocks - eight solo, 40 assisted. In her follow up season, DeSanti then averaged 3.00 assists per set over 27 games as a sophomore, including a career high 28-helper outing versus Minnesota State Moorhead.

DeSanti prepped at West Grand High School for three years under head coaches Kim Bodemann, Scott Terryberry and Rose Gamblin. The three-sport athlete helped the Mustangs to a regional title her senior season when she totaled 230 kills while hitting over .400 in her swan song year. She also added 313 digs, 284 assists and served up 41 aces as she was named to the 2019 2A All-State team. The back-to-back All-Conference honoree also landed on the All-State honorable mention team as a junior.

Emma is the daughter of Jack and Michele DeSanti and hopes to major in graphic design.
