Biography

Sophomore | 2023

Appeared in 31 matches with nine starts … ranked fifth on team with 122 kills and averaged 1.45 kills per set … notched a season-high 12 terminations on 22 swings (.455) in a four-set win over William Penn (Iowa) on August 25.

Freshman | 2022

Appeared in 21 matches with one start … recorded 21 kills and 0.64 kills per set … added five assists, 12 digs and 12 blocks … notched a season-high four digs vs. No. 24 Texas Wesleyan (Nov. 11).

Prep Career

Schaefer spent one season on the Fayetteville High School volleyball team under head coach Jessica Phelan and made it count, helping the Bulldogs to a 6A state crown. The 5-foot-11 pin hitter also served as team captain during its banner season.

Personal

Emma-Kate is the daughter of Stephen and Darlia Schaefer and hopes to major in biology.
