A 2026 graduate of Elkins High School, the Elkins native earned three letters under head coach Broc Adams and three in softball under head coach Jennifer Poteete. The 5-foot-10 middle blocker closed her volleyball career with 526 kills, 80 blocks and 75 aces and earned All-Conference recognition in both volleyball and softball as a sophomore, followed by All-Conference honors and Offensive Player of the Year in volleyball and Most Valuable Player in softball as a junior. As a senior, she was named All-Conference, an All-Star Nominee and Conference Offensive Player of the Year.

In softball, she added All-Conference, All-Star Nominee and Clutch Player recognition as the Elks won the district tournament and conference championship in 2025.

Whitley is the daughter of Chad and Amy Underdown and plans on majoring in business.
