Biography
Katelyn Colvin, who began her journey with the Golden Eagles in 2021, stepped into the role of head athletic trainer in the summer of 2025.
A graduate of the University of Arkansas, Colvin earned her Master of Athletic Training degree in 2021. Before her time at JBU, she served as a student athletic trainer for the Razorback women's soccer program, which concluded the season with a 10-3-0 record and an eighth-place national ranking. During her time at Arkansas, she also gained experience working with the softball and swim and dive programs at Har-Ber High School, and completed a clinical rotation at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences Orthopedics and Sports Medicine Clinic in Fayetteville.
Colvin holds certifications in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and first aid and is a member of the National Athletic Trainers' Association.
A four-year letter winner for the University of Tennessee at Martin women's soccer team, Colvin graduated with a Bachelor of Science in health and human performance in 2019. She made 73 appearances on the Skyhawks back line from 2015-2019, recording five goals and 17 assists for a total of 27 points. In her final season, she helped lead the UTM to a 15-3-0 record, setting a new single-season program record for wins.
Colvin currently resides in Fayetteville.
