FT. SMITH, Ark. -- Landing its second win in a row, Arkansas - Ft. Smith pieced together a 9-0 win over the John Brown University women's tennis team on Monday (March 11) at the Ft. Smith Athletic Club.
While the three doubles matchups were won with relative ease by the Lions (4-4), John Brown (0-7) was quickly dismissed except for the second singles flight. There, freshman Sydney Smith took Majella Nobile to a 6-2, 6-2 score before the match ended.
The Golden Eagles return to action on Thursday (March 14) at 11 a.m., traveling to Shawnee, Okla. to take on host NCAA II Oklahoma Baptist.
