Young men and women ... I know things seem uncertain and difficult for you, for all of us really. However, I want to encourage each of you to continue working towards your athletic and academic goals. I know the Spring seems like forever, and it some ways it is. In the grand scheme of life, it’s but a mere blip on your journey. Stay focused and lean on Him for he will guide you along the way. Don't forget, this time was taken from you - and use that to fuel your drive.

Remember: 'Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.'

I know this time is a heartbreak for all of you; it is for us fans also. I am now retired and I love watching the basketball and soccer teams. I even have begun watching the volleyball team last year. We all pray for you all hope you can start your seasons as soon as it is safe. God Bless.

This pandemic can't stop the energy and heartbeat of the JBU student-athletes. Y'all rock! Work hard, stay focused, never give up, and continue to honor Christ in first place in all you do. Live for Him!

Praying for each of you to prosper in your faith during times of testing. It will make you better and stronger by the resistance you go through. God bless you, keep working and keep your eyes on Jesus. Run the race set before you, and you will overcome! Remember, this too shall pass. Go JBU!
