From the Desk of Robyn Daugherty: The Return of the Toilet Paper Game

official-statement-cover

Dear Golden Eagle Fans:

While John Brown University is excited to welcome back our beloved Toilet Paper Game tradition, powered by Kimberly-Clark, we are limiting attendance this year due to COVID-19.

Only current students, faculty/staff, booster club members and families of basketball and cheer student-athletes will be admitted to the arena. Faculty and staff will need to show their ID to enter, and immediate family members need to be with the ID holder upon entry. Family members of current basketball and cheer student-athletes will need the family pass ID in order to enter. Doors open at 4:30 p.m., one hour before the women's basketball game begins at 5:35 p.m. The best technical foul in sports tips off at 7:35 p.m.

Golden Eagle Booster Club members will receive information from the department of athletics on how to get tickets to the game.

For those unable to attend, we invite you to join us online for live game coverage on Friday, Oct. 29. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to welcoming you to any other intercollegiate athletics event this season, and then to the 39th annual Toilet Paper Game in 2022.

Kimberly-Scott is providing 2,000 rolls of toilet paper for fans to toss. Bring a canned good to claim your roll before the start of the men’s game. All canned goods and 2,000 rolls of toilet paper, donated by Kimberly-Clark, will go to the Manna Center in Siloam Springs, as they are especially in need of canned vegetables.

Beginning Nov. 1, 2021, the remainder of basketball games will be open to the community at large.

Sincerely,
Robyn Daugherty
Director of Athletics
John Brown University
