Northeastern State Takes Sweep over Women's Tennis

SILOAM SPRINGS -- The John Brown University women's tennis team fell in 7-0 fashion versus Northeastern State (Okla.) on Monday (March 8) afternoon at the JBU Tennis Courts.

"The key to tennis is to beat who you need to beat, always play hard and learn from the teams that are better than you," admitted head coach Mike Campbell. "Today, we just went up against a team that is better than us. All you can ask for is to maintain that fight, stay competitive and avoid unforced errors. So, in that regard, I was proud of the team today."

The Golden Eagles return to action on Wednesday (March 10) when John Brown welcomes yet another NCAA II opponent in Arkansas - Ft. Smith to the JBU Tennis Courts. First serve is scheduled for 2 p.m.
