OKLAHOMA CITY -- John Brown sophomore guard Sarah Snodgrass has been named the Sooner Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Week after a record-setting performance during a two-game stretch in Iowa, the conference office announced Monday morning (Nov. 10).
The accolade marks her second weekly honor of the season after previously earning Defensive Player of the Week recognition on Nov. 3.
Snodgrass erupted for a career-high 40 points and 12 rebounds against Northwestern (Iowa), the third-highest single-game point total in program history. She followed with 16 points and nine boards against top-ranked Dordt, finishing the week averaging 28.0 points and 10.5 rebounds while shooting 49 percent (19 of 39) from the floor and 33 percent (4 of 12) from three-point range.
Through four games, the Lincoln, Ark., native has produced three double-doubles and leads the Sooner Athletic Conference in both scoring (23.0 ppg) and rebounding (11.5 rpg).
