WINNER. Sierra's career included an appearance in two NAIA National Championships, first in 2011 and then again in 2014. Over her career, she led the Golden Eagles to 76 victories, a mark greater than any other class in program history. Sierra's career was punctuated by John Brown University's first-ever victory at the NAIA National Championships that ultimately resulted in the Golden Eagles' best run in program history - an appearance in the 2013-14 Fab Four. Prior to the tournament, Shipley was named JBU's first-ever WBCA-NAIA All-America first team honoree in program history.

VERSATILE. Sierra was an outstanding scorer and finished her career with over 1,500 points, only the fifth ever to do so in program history. She accomplished this feat by flashing her triple-threat: behind the arc, around the hoop and from the free-throw line. Scoring, however, was not the only way she helped the Golden Eagles, as she finished her junior campaign second on the squad in rebounding, before ending her senior season leading the team in boards. Sierra continued that strong play into the 2013-14 NAIA National Championships, where she averaged 16.5 points and 5.3 rebounds per game over the four-game Golden Eagle run to the national semifinals.

COMPETITOR. Sierra has been a competitor her whole life. Regardless of the game or drill, she was always willing to do what it took to win. Best exhibited by her mounting accolades, she began collecting awards when she was named a Sooner Athletic All-Conference honorable mention as a sophomore, a third team honoree as a junior and a first team selection as a senior.

LEADER. Sierra was one that the team looked to in difficult situations. Since stepping foot on campus for the first time, she exhibited the attributes of a true leader.
