WINNER. Pressure. Big saves. Everything on the line. Moments like these defined Caitlyn’s career, and it’s exactly what she longed for during her time as a Golden Eagle. No trait could be more valuable in a team’s goalkeeper that influences a team’s ability to win. Amassing an incredible career record of 65-11-6 (.829) over five seasons, Caitlyn led the Golden Eagles to four consecutive NAIA National Championships appearances as the starting keeper. She left Siloam Springs as the most decorated player in program history.

CONSISTENT. Caitlyn was the definition of consistency. She always made the save she was supposed to make, along with a few shots that that no one thought she had a chance to stop. As a testament to her steady, dependable play in goal, she became the program’s first-ever four-time conference superlative winner as she earned the Sooner Athletic’s Goalkeeper of the Year honors from 2018-21, and broke every major goalkeeping program record along the way. Caitlyn is the standard-bearer for what consistent play looks like in the women’s soccer program.

GROWTH. It can only happen on the edge of discomfort. This was always a place where Caitlyn was willing to enter, and after five years, emerged as one of the most-improved players over her career through her willingness to be coached. She was always willing to put in extra work, wanted to know how to get better and asked to be challenged in training and in life. The growth that happened between the student-athlete that step foot on campus as a freshman in 2017 and the women who left, Caitlyn was a player and person marked by growth.

COMPETITOR. Caitlyn hated to lose, though it happened rarely. She made her teammates better by the way she competed day in and day out. Without healthy competition in practice or games, a team cannot move forward and, through competition, she led the way.
