EXCEPTIONAL. These types of results do not occur naturally. They are attained through the combination of lofty goals, an uncommon commitment and dedication to do the necessary work, a steadfastness in the midst of adversity and the passionate pursuit of excellence. Audrey's performance, both on and off the court, embodied these core characteristics and ignited her to perform at a consistently high level throughout her collegiate career at John Brown University. Audrey's talent and intellect were unique and helped her to stand out amongst her peers, but she didn't allow herself to rest on these gifts. Early on in her life, her parents encouraged her to dream big dreams and then challenged her to do the work necessary to achieve those things. Other coaches, teachers, spiritual mentors, friends and teammates poured into Audrey's life along the way and helped mold her into the outstanding woman she was called to be.
FIERCE. Audrey was a fierce competitor by nature. While she enjoyed winning matches or performing well in the classroom, what she relished most was the opportunity to compete and be pushed. Audrey's desire to constantly better herself as a player helped her transition from a player of capable of producing numerous hard-driven kills into a multifaceted player who could impact a match from the service line, blocking at the net or setting up her teammates to stay loose and share innumerable moments of laughter together. Audrey's heart for her JBU volleyball family was large and she loved to serve her teammates whether through an encouraging word, some random act of kindness or taking the time to pray over a need. Audrey's life and career as a student-athlete at JBU embodied God's call to be a faithful steward of the talents and gifts that she was blessed with and to seek out opportunities to utilize those in the service to those around her.

ACCOMPLISHED. Audrey's 1,536 kills placed her at third-most all-time in program history, cementing her legacy among the JBU greats. She also finished her career in the program's top-five career spots in kills per set (3.28) and aces (221). In fact, by the time she graduated, Audrey had developed into such an efficient server, she not only led the nation in total aces (86), but also in aces per set (.690). The two-time team MVP finished her career as a four-time All-Sooner Athletic honoree, including being selected to the first team on three occasions. She was also named to the AVCA All-Region team three times and was selected to the first team twice, which led to an AVCA-NAIA All-America honorable mention as a junior. She competed hard in the classroom as well, and notched prestigious NAIA Scholar-Athlete honors both years she was eligible and earned sports on the SAC All-Academic team in both her junior and senior seasons. Her individual effort also helped the team as JBU notched four consecutive AVCA Team Academic awards during her career. To finish her career, Audrey was named the top JBU female athlete and earned Outstanding Female Athlete of the Year as both a junior and senior.
