With exceptional talent and creativity, he was the team’s conductor in the final third – always demonstrating a high level of precision in passes, dribbling, and soccer IQ. His ability to read the game, combined with his leadership and flair, elevated the collective performance of the Blue and Gold in many important matches over five seasons.

ELITE. Oscar had a relentless drive to perform at a high level and help the team be better every time he stepped on the field. His commitment to excellence, captaining the team, and motivating others exemplified what it meant to be truly elite in the world of college soccer. The 2019 Sooner Athletic Conference’s Most Valuable Player dished out a program record 40 assists during his career, and finished with the fourth-most goals (55) and points (150) in program history.

GROWTH. Over his five seasons as a Golden Eagle, Oscar evolved into a remarkable example of personal, spiritual, and professional growth. Known for his determination and resilience, he consistently strove to improve on and off the field. The four-time All-Sooner Athletic first team selection’s dedication to self-improvement was an inspiration for the entire program and coaching staff – a true cornerstone of team success.
