DECISIVE. With an amazing ability to seize critical moments, Jacob Zamarron consistently delivered when it mattered most. His quick thinking, sharp movement off the ball, and clinical finishing made him a threat to every team for five seasons straight. This led to four consecutive All-Sooner Athletic first team selections, including the conference’s Freshman of the Year in 2019 when he posted 26 goals, nine assists (61 points) and poured in five game-winners to lead the Golden Eagles to an SAC regular season and tournament championship. His confidence and composure under pressure defined his role as a decisive force that led to six top-10 finishes in the program’s career record book.
COMMITTED. Jacob’s work ethic, dedication to improvement and motivation set a high standard for the entire program. His steadfast determination to get better and his loyalty to the team’s goals made him an invaluable asset. The three-time SAC Offensive Player of the Year’s passion for the game and commitment inspired everyone around him, driving the team toward greater achievements.
